Hello, my name is Elissa and welcome to my blog! I started Read. Write. Listen. Create as my personal blog in 2016. I was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy in 2015 and the blog was a way for me to write about how I was feeling about that news, but also a way to stay creative. I’ve been writing ever since I was little, but this was a way for me to write on a public platform about topics that I found interesting. Over the years it has turned into a place where I can write book reviews as well as my thoughts and news on upcoming movies, music, and shows. I’ve also started including posts about places that I’ve visited as a wheelchair user. I’m sure to bring a hint of nostalgia whenever possible and have been known to find ways to incorporate a splash of 1980s movie trivia whenever I can.
