I’ve been listening to Taylor’s old music on Spotify over the last few months and hoping to hear the news of when Taylor’s next album will be released. That news is finally here! Taylor recently broke the news during her Eras Tour. Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) will be released July 7.
All of her original albums sit on their CD shelves in my room, but I’ve been waiting until each one of Taylor’s re-recorded albums come out so I can add them to my digital collection on my phone. You can pre-order her album now.

She shared on Instagram that, “it fills me with such pride and joy to announce that my version of Speak Now will be out July 7…I first made (the album) completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness.”
The album will have twenty-two songs including six previously unreleased tracks. The original album had fourteen songs and the deluxe had twenty. In March, Taylor released the song, “If This Was A Movie” which was originally featured on the deluxe version, but the track featured album artwork from Fearless (Taylor’s Version). There’s no word yet if it will be featured on the Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) album.
There hasn’t been any announcement yet about any guest artists featured on the album, but for Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version), Chris Stapleton, Maren Morris, and Ed Sheeran were on some of the From The Vault tracks.
With the album’s release still two months away, there’s plenty of time for more announcements about the upcoming re-release.
