Pop 2000 Tour

I love a good blast from the past just as much as anybody, but when I found out that Pop 2000 was an actual tour, I thought I should get the word out. Apparently, it’s been going on for a few years now.

When I heard that O-Town, Aaron Carter, Ryan Cabrera, and Tyler Hilton would be on tour together, I couldn’t think of a more early 2000s lineup. And to top it all off, Lance Bass from *NSYNC will be hosting it.

Although we won’t be hearing from *NSYNC on this tour, here’s a video flashback I can’t NOT share.

I remember going back and watching all of the old episodes of Making the Band when O-Town was on it. I don’t think I actually watched when it first came out, so I thank Youtube for having it (probably illegally) uploaded. They’ll be at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga on August 2 this year.

With all of these bands and artists coming back (recently Jonas Brothers), I feel like more bands will continue to get back together (*cough, One Direction, cough*). And maybe someday, *NSYNC will finally get back together and make all of my late 90s and early 2000s dreams come true. But until then I’ll continue to live with the memories, my collection of their CDs, and Youtube’s helpful and nostalgic view into the past.
