Are you ready for pure nostalgia? Some people weren’t ready to leave the ‘90s and their houses are in the running for the best totally ‘90s house.

Two teams of 1990s TV Stars with a love for design and renovation will search for the homes not yet ready to leave the greatest decade. They will pick their favorite and give it a major overhaul.

Hosted by Jaleel White (Family Matters), teams will be made up of Brian Austin Green (Beverly Hills 90210), Beverly Mitchell (7th Heaven), and Jodie Sweetin (Full House).

They will go up against Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the Teenage Witch), Matthew Lawrence (Boy Meets World), and Keshia Knight Pulliam (The Cosby Show) with help from Joey Lawrence (Blossom).

“During the extended premiere episode, Jaleel will welcome the teams and send them on a quest to find their properties — think honey oak cabinets, sponge-painted walls and mirrored closets. The competitors will tour their fill of valance window treatments, heavy carpets and curved staircases before choosing which house their team will renovate.

In week two, Jaleel will send VHS tapes to announce the colossal makeovers kicking off in the kitchen. He’ll also introduce the first ‘90s-forward challenge with free countertops up for grabs (hgtv.com).”

This show sounds like such a fun idea, I can’t wait to watch! I’m always looking for 1990s throwbacks and this sounds like the perfect way to end the summer. “Totally ‘90s House” premieres on HGTV on August 26 and the next day on HBO Max.
